Hi! My name is Novlette. I understand that the decision to seek help can be a difficult one. I believe
that there is strength when knowing when to reach out for support. My goal is to provide a warm and
gentle approach to help you feel safe and secure during the therapeutic process. I have been involved in
Social Services for over 25 years and have extensive experience working with mental health, families,
children, adults, crisis intervention, mediation, poverty and oppression. At this time, I provide individual
therapy with adults (18 years +). My areas of focus are:

Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder (PMDD), Difficult/Traumatic Births and Post Partum
Depression/Anxiety (Peripartum Depression), Pregnancy Anxiety.

I’m a Registered Social Worker with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers
and a member of the Ontario Association of Social Workers. I am trained in Cognitive Behavioural
Therapy (CBT), Solution Focused Therapy (SFT) and Acceptance; Commitment Therapy (ACT). I take an eclectic approach in order to meet your needs. I am client centred, utilize a systemic approach, work
from an anti-oppressive stance and culturally sensitive. I am trauma informed, strength based and
utilize aspects of narrative therapy and mindfulness practices.
I offer in person sessions on Tuesday’s and alternative Saturdays and virtual or telephone
sessions Mondays to Wednesdays and alternative Saturdays. I look forward to hearing from you.
